Leadership Programs
Changing health and healthcare in Louisiana and beyond will require transformational leadership, and an important part of Louisiana hospitals' initiative to reengineer care is to identify and train leaders for today and tomorrow. Therefore, a priority for the LHA is to identify educational gaps and work with partners to provide accessible, affordable training to the healthcare workforce who play a leadership role in transforming healthcare. Audiences for various offerings are likely to include hospital executives, trustees, managers, physicians, nurses, members of the community, hospital employees who are natural leaders among their peers, and students who look forward to a career in healthcare. View the LHA Education Calendar for a list of upcoming events.
Summer Conference & Winter Symposium
Each year, the LHA offers two annual programs specifically designed for hospital leadership. The Winter Healthcare Leadership Symposium and the Annual Meeting & Summer Conference offer hospital leaders the opportunity to learn about the latest healthcare developments, locally and nationally, and to network with colleagues from across the state.
